THE IMAGINARY REAL was launched in 2022 as an app-based project; twenty audio monologues hidden around the city. Each unique monologue was written, directed, and recorded by a team of local artists. These monologues worked in tandem with their locations to create an elevated storytelling experience for the listener. After two summers of immersive exploring, The Imaginary Real now has a new home; all twenty monologues can be found below, accompanied by lyric video visualizers created by Andrea Cooper. Now you can listen to The Imaginary Real any time, any place.
